The Decemberists Launch Tour This Month

Indie rock band, The Decemberists, will be touring in support of their soon-to-be released album, The King is Dead, beginning this month.

The tour kicks off with three nights at Beacon Theatre in New York City. The group will play two Canadian cities, Montreal and Toronto, as well as dates in the U.S. and U.K. through March.

The King is Dead is the sixth release from The Decemberists, and features Peter Buck of R.E.M. and folk singer, Gillian Welch. The album will be available in stores January 18th.
